Location and Working Hours The role is based in Shoreditch, London and Managers are expected to work from the company’s offices and/or client’s offices 3-4 days a week.
Requirements The role will involve travel around the UK and occasionally in Europe.

Candidates must have an existing right to work in the U.K. Unfortunately we do not sponsor U.K. work visas.

Equitory, a well-established Investor Relations consultancy, is seeking a Manager to join its team.

At Equitory, we specialise in outsourced IR, advising companies throughout the capital markets cycle from private companies with debt investors, companies going through an IPO process, to large listed companies. Our clients include well-known, highly regarded brands, and the work is fast-paced and varied.

This position is ideal for an in-house IR professional who is looking to expand their IR experience, gain IPO experience, and work with multiple companies in different sectors and gain exposure to a range of IR situations. Candidates quickly progress to Director level and Head of IR positions.

Key Responsibilities

 

As a Manager of Investor Relations, you will:

  • Support Directors in delivering IR strategies for clients, including providing advice and presenting in meetings to CEOs, CFOs and Heads of IR
  • Take ownership of key IR workstreams across client programmes, with increasing autonomy over time
  • Lead full financial reporting cycles, including project timelines and full drafting of press releases, investor presentations, scripts, Q&A and annual reports
  • Manage relationships with sell-side analysts to support coverage, financial modelling and consensus guidance
  • Respond to investor questions and attend investor meetings alongside management teams, and input into investor targeting
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, particularly CFOs, Finance and CoSec teams
  • Attend client meetings across the UK and occasionally in Europe
About You

You’ll bring:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in a financial, advisory or corporate reporting role. Minimum of 1 year’s in-house IR experience strongly preferred. Candidates from accounting, ECM/DCM advisory and financial PR will be considered
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and committed to delivering to the highest standards
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment, comfortable working to tight deadlines and multi-tasking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with acute attention to detail
  • Strong organisational, logistical and project management skills
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
  • Capable of working independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture
