We set up and lead investor communication strategies for our clients, and are able to fully replicate an internal IR function. In addition, our clients benefit from our combined team experience, independent advice, and our visibility over current best practice in investor communication through working with multiple companies. Clara Melia
Founder and CEO

Clara founded Equitory in 2016 as a consultancy specialising in helping companies communicate their value to investors. Equitory has grown rapidly over the last few years and now comprises a team of 17 investor relations professionals. Prior to starting her own business, Clara was Head of IR at ITV plc and worked in the IR team for Close Brothers Group plc. Clara is a Chartered Accountant and began her career at PwC before moving into Corporate Broking for RBS Hoare Govett.
Mark Mochalski

Prior to joining Equitory, Mark worked in IR at Santander and before that at investment platform Transact (IntegraFin), supporting through its IPO. He started his career in pensions and life insurance at Royal London. Mark is a qualified Chartered Accountant.Catherine Miles

Catherine has broad and in-depth experience covering the areas of investor relations, corporate communications, strategy formation, and crisis management. Her career spans more than 20 years in in-house positions at PLCs, corporate broking, and agency-side. She was most recently Director of Investor Relations/Communications and ESG at FTSE business Headlam Group plc.

Fiona joined Equitory as an Associate Director. She has extensive experience in Corporate Communications and IR at a FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 company, with the last five years as Deputy IR Director at Capita plc. She has a master’s degree in Business and holds the Certificate in IR.
James Cartwright

James has more than 30 years capital markets experience, having held roles as Managing Director of Morgan Stanley, he's also ex Bank of America and UBS. His expertise covers M&A, and strategic messaging for listed and pre-IPO corporates. More recently James was COO and Head of IR at CMC Markets and was Head of IR at a former FTSE 100 listed mining/energy company. James holds a BSC Hons Geology degree from Bristol University UK.

Fay joined Equitory as a consultant, having previously been a rated sell side analyst. Fay has run IR teams for FTSE 100 companies including Experian and Burberry, helping management with shareholder engagement, corporate transactions and various crises.Mav Wynn

-Gavin has over 30 years of experience in institutional equity sales and research, predominantly at firms such as NatWest Markets, Schroder Securities, Morgan Stanley, and Exane BNP Paribas. Since 2019, he has run his own consulting business focused on optimising the research produced by investment analysts in both buy and sell-side firms, and on helping other businesses with their strategic development.

Matt joined the team in June 2023. Prior to working at Equitory he spent seven years at Lloyds Banking Group where he held several positions including within their equity and debt Investor Relations teams, as well as directly supporting the Group CFO as Executive Assistant. Matt is a qualified accountant and holds a degree in History & Politics from the University of Nottingham.
Rebecca Jamieson

Rebecca has worked in Investor Relations for over 6 years. She established the IR function for AIM-listed technology business, Bango plc, as Head of Investor Relations, as well as taking responsibility for strategic communications and ESG. Prior to Bango, Rebecca worked at Capital Access Group supporting a broad range of clients with their IR activities and corporate access programmes. Rebecca has a broad understanding of the UK investment landscape having previously worked in financial services recruitment.

Beth joined Equitory in as an IR Manager. She has over ten years’ in-house IR experience including at British Land and Taylor Wimpey. She began her career as an M&A analyst at UBS. She is CFA and Prince 2 qualified.
Sophie Marshman

Sophie joined Equitory as an IR Manager. Before joining Equitory, Sophie worked as an IR Manager at ITV and, prior to that, in Internal Audit at ITV. Sophie is a PwC qualified Chartered Accountant.
Diana Moscosso Martinez

Diana joined Equitory as an IR Manager. She has worked in Investor Relations for nine years, with extensive in-house experience in US, UK and Mexican listed entities. Most recently, she was IR Principal at Farfetch Limited (formerly NYSE:FTCH). Diana holds a Bachelors Degree in Financial Management from Tecnológico de Monterrey and an MBA from the University of London.
