Mark Mochalski, interim CEO at Equitory sat down with Andrew Lyons, Client Solutions Associate Director at Computershare and Emma Sisson of the London Stock Exchange where they discuss IPO readiness and why getting started early with IR and governance is the key to success.

They dive into the main differences before and after an IPO from an IR and governance perspective, the things to address first, external communications and the importance of early engagement with investors and analysts.

Mark Mochalski, Interim CEO & Managing Director – Equitory

Mark joined Equitory in 2021 and assumed the role of Managing Director in 2023. Mark is a Chartered Accountant with experience in both equity and debt investor relations and previously worked in Investor Relations at Santander. Prior to this he worked at IntegraFin, a FTSE 250 investment platform, supporting through the IPO process and setting up the investor relations function. Mark started his career working in life insurance and pensions at Royal London. He holds a BSc in Mathematics with Finance from Queen Mary, University of London, and an MSc in Mathematics from the University of Valencia.

Andrew Lyons, Client Solutions Associate Director – Computershare 

Andrew has nearly twenty years experience in corporate communications. His considerable relationship management and business development experience within the Financial Services sector has helped Computershare build strong, enduring and productive relationships with clients and advisers at every part of the IPO journey.
